San Baio

…based upon the system of Chinese Medicine & Taoist Philosophy

Overview

Since the beginning, the prevention of illness before a symptom manifests is the core philosophy of acupuncture. This is based on the connection between the physical human being and the environment in which we operate. The free flow of Qi (energy) allows the constant adjustment of the body to the environment. If the body is unable to cope with changes, then balance is lost within the meridian system (=the body’s energy distribution system). The presence of disease within the individual is due to a lack of adaptability to environmental conditions coupled with a pre-existing Yin/Yang imbalance. Working with the acupuncture points helps to evoke the tendency towards repair and self-regulation. The goal of any treatment is to restore balance.

What is San Baio?

The Three Treasures of Healing!

In traditional Chinese Medicine, these Three Treasures are the substance that nurture the organ system and keep mind, body, and spirit in balance. The term San Baio originally referred to the Taoist Three Treasures upon which all life depends. “The body is the temple of life. Energy is the force of life. Spirit is the governor of life.

Jing

Jing -  Essence, what we are, that from which we are made, the soil from which Qi arises.
We are all born with a certain amount of Jing that pre-determines our longevity.  Like the sand in an hourglass how we live our lives and support our bodies can quicken or slow the flow of sand in our hourglass

Qi

Qi -  Energy, vitality, life force, the primal life force which penetrates every cell within the living body and activates its vital functions.
Free flowing, strong Qi can optimize the function of the entire body.  Inside our body, Qi generates movement, heat, protects our cells and offers us energy to think, walk, speak and experience our deepest emotions

Shen

Shen - The spirit of soul-encompassing all aspects of the mind, intent, awareness, cognition, thought and feeling.
Shen is the treasure that moves us to arise and begin the day.  It provides our motivation, so our emotions are an important component to Shen.  Even when the body's Jing Qi are present and activated without Shen there is no motivation to reap the satisfactions of life

The way to find healing energy is to not attack or deny the illness, but to balance and develop the Three Treasures.

True Healing is based on the understanding that we all have faculties and potentials within us that can be harnessed, enabling healing on all levels.

San Baio utilizes some of the most powerful and safest acupuncture points in Classic Chinese Medicine to balance the Jing, Qi and Shen of the individual.

Points may be stimulated using a combination of magnets, cool healing laser, essential oils, seeds, Moxa, light touch or by energetic stimulation.
